Fabulousness in Sydney

Last weekend was spent in Sydney for my brothers wedding. We had a wonderful time catching up with family, revelling in the wedding celebrations and enjoying a bit of sightseeing. Liam was the page boy and looked adorable in his little suit and he partied on until midnight. He was adored by all. The wedding was at St Marys cathedral and reception at the Sebel Pier One (transport via stretch limo!) - it had a magnificent view, right under the bridge and across from the vibrant lights of Luna Park.

Bloody Good Mail Day

Today I recievd some gorgeous GayeAbandon armwarmers which I won in a Frankie mag comp. I've been coveting items from this shop for ages so this was a wonderful surprise. Wheee! Love them. Bring on Winter!

I also recieved a beautiful olive green runner which I'd purchased from margotbianca. Happy indeed.

Plus some really nice beads I'd bought - can't wait to get creating with these.

And! Something else to collect from the post office!

Artistic Mother

This is one of my mother's latest works of art. It's a picture of my brother's girlfriend Erica (who also does the modelling for my Etsy shop). I think it's a wonderful depiction and has my mother's usual colourful detail - a bit Klimt-ish.
Here is Mum's Flickr page.

This week at Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree:

Listening to: The Bird and the Bee - I got both of their albums and am loving them. Very mellow and has a poppy 70s feel.

Reading: Grasshopper by Barbara Vine - not as engrossing so far as the other books I've read of hers.

Doing: Listing stock on Etsy

Eating: Bacci, Kahlua and Baileys chocolates which I got for Mothers Day

Watching: Twin Peaks

Cooking: Will make a ginger crunch slice tonight. The recipe is by Donna Hay and was in The Mercury last weekend.

Looking Forward to: my brothers wedding in Sydney next weekend.

Buying: PickalaPoopa envelopes (30 in red, black and brown) and some more gorgeous cards by Moonmum

Shop is full to the brim!

I didn't realise how much I actually had to list.
It's fuller than it has ever been (although hopefully not for long!)
