Ho! Ho! Ho! from HObart!

I've been swooped up in the Christmas whirlwind and haven't had much of a chance to get on and do a decent blog.

The last market was a massive success - so many people came through and I sold so much. The stock at Roses Cupboard has also been selling very well and I've taken in quite a bit of new stuff.

It's starting to feel a bit more like Christmas now.
Liam went to Faerie School on Tuesday to make a Gingerbread House which has become a fun annual event. Last night we did a Christmas Lights tour around Hobart whilst wearing santa hats, listening to carols and eating gingerbread and truffles. We didn't get home until 11pm!

I have family arriving this afternoon so I'd better get back to getting the house into order.

Merry Christmas to you all!

To Market! To Market!

I'll be having another stall at the market this Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Judging from last months Christmas market, this one promises to be another fabulous bustling day with loads of talented designers. Hope to see you there!

This week at "Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree"

Doing: Brunching with my mum at various cafes, finishing up jewellery stock for the market next Sunday, listing new items on Etsy and loving the photos my brother and his girlfriend did for the store, Christmas shopping (am just about done -woo!), eating all the marzipan/gingerbread treats that 'St Nikolaus' brought me (in Germany he comes the night of the 5th - my hubby is German) and eating lebkucken from the massive box the in-laws sent, gardening, bbqing...
Highlight: seeing The Armada; Jeff Martin's (The Tea Party) new band - awesome. It was the 6th time I've seen him and he's always amazing. A friend wrote a review here and there are some pics here.

Reading: The Slap by Christos Tsiolkas . Just finished Veronika decides to Die by Paolo Coelho which enjoyed. I loved the concept but in some parts I found a bit silly.

Listening to: Tori Amos' new Christmassy cd - Midwinter Graces (not really my cuppa though), The Armada/The Tea Party/Jeff Martin solo, Amanda Palmer, Fever Ray.

Buying: I can never resist Matou en Peluche's sales!

(Edited .. sorry about the (former) title of this post. I used an old post title. The giveaway has closed. ooops.)

Pretty Lucite Floral Range in store!

My brother who is a budding photographer took these photos of his girlfriend modelling my new jewellery range. I'm so thrilled with them. All these items are in store now and I'm going to try and keep restocking them once sold.

2 more days until my giveaway is drawn. Still time to enter!
