Winning Streak!

Wow! I was utterly thrilled to learn I had won a fabulous silkscreen print by Kate Banazi on Matou en Peluche's blog.

I won this one called "38 Mate".

but she also send me 2 smaller ones which are also awesome including this one called "Pigeons".

All are now adorning the walls of my new "me" room which I'll take photos of in the next week or so.

And that's not all! I also won this mixed tape cd card by Tea & Ceremony on the Sweet Tidings blog. I made a cd for one of my very good friends which my husband will deliver when he goes to the U.S next week.

Been Lucky!

I've won a few giveaways around the place over the last 6 months which I've neglected to show you here.

Yesterday I recieved a Handmade Help cookbook (which was created by a bunch of amazing Melbourne crafters to raise money for the Salvation Army to raise money for the victims in the 2009 bushfires) - I won the giveaway on Polka Dot Rabbit's fab blog. Thank you! The book is great and there are loads of recipes I'm looking forward to trying out.
Around Christmas time I won one of these amazingly cute reindeer-shroom decorations by Effunia. I think it's so adorable!
Last Halloween I won this totally awesome pack of cute Japanese Halloween decorations on the Florspace blog. I decided to save them for this year as I'm planning a Halloween birthday party for my twin boys. Can't wait!
Towards the end of last year I won a comp with KidStyleFile. This crazy fort which was a bit of a hit with the boys!

How lucky am I? Thanks to all those fabulous giveaway-ers! xo

This week at "Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree"

Doing: Many trips to many different beaches, pancakes at the Margate Train, swims in our pool, taking stock into Roses Cupboard, watching our new deck being built, recovering fom a nasty migraine, tea and lunch and music at Chado, feeding ducks at Richmond, getting the boys haircut (Alex fell asleep mid-cut so I had to hold his head so it wouldn't wobble whilst the lady finished cutting!), finding some good garage sale buys.

Watching: Milk (really enjoyed it) and LOST has started again.

Reading: Jigs and Reels by Joanne Harris (still - not making much progress)

Listening to: Dresden Dolls, Art vs Science, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Buying: I bought this beautiful collage wall art for my new 'me' room. I'd been coveting a similar one in green for some time but this vibrant rainbow coloured one is perfect. So cheery and happy and I'm super thrilled! (even more wonderful in RL)
I also indulged in something else from my perpetual wishlist. This super-sweet Pippi Longstocking shadow puppet. I've got it fixed to the wall in my 'me' room and I just adore it.
