The Market

I will be having a stall at the market on Sunday. This looks like such a great line-up of stallholders with a few exciting new ones this time.
There will also be the opening of the new lounge/cafe/art gallery which sounds like an excellent addition.
Looking forward to it, indeed.

Thanks so much to all who entered from near and far! It was so much fun reading all the fab comments and I have so many recommendations of blogs, music, stores etc which I'm looking forward to checking out (and probably sharing with you too). There were 198 entry points in total. I decided to type them all out in order of entry and number each and then use random.org to pick the winner.

This week at "Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree"

It's been a wee while since I've done one of these entries. There hasn't been a lot happening in between work/kidwrangling/jewellery making/birthdays/recovering from migraines. It's been flat out really.

Doing:
Lots of jewellery making. I've been getting a bit of interest from shops which is fab so have been getting a lot of orders ready. I also have 2 markets coming up - Salamanca this weekend and the market next weekend. I've also started getting 2 rings ready for A Winters Rings Exhibition at Cube - Art &Design Gallery which is on next month.

Cooking: I got a slow cooker for my birthday and am experimenting a bit - I currently have an apple crumble on the go.

Reading: The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
I've also been reading The Handmade Marketplace: How to Sell Your Crafts Locally, Globally, and On-Line which I've found to be a really useful resource. I've definitely picked up a few good tips from it.

Looking forward to: a ME trip to Melbourne at the end of July (concerts: Florence and the Machine and also Jonsi)

Listening to: Florence and the Machine, Jonsi, Kaki King, Angus and Julia Stone and I got the latest Wendy Rule cd for my birthday so listening to that too.

Watching: Shrek 4, How to Train your Dragon, The Road

Buying: Gorgeous eyeshadows from Orglamix and a beautiful print from Catherine Campbell

The Barn Market

This Saturday I will be having a stall at the Barn Market in Rosny.

This will be my first Barn Market as a seller and I'm rather excited - it is such a cool venue and I love it's cruisey vibe.
Would love to see you there!
