The Flower Bud at Jean Pascal's Patisserie

My floral resin range is now being sold at the Flower Bud which is the florist within Jean Pascal's Patisserie in New Town. I've been thinking for a little while how nice it would be to sell my floral range at a florist and where better than my local florist and patisserie where we buy our weekend croissants and baguettes!

Snow in Spring

There was more snow on the weekend so we decided to go up Mt Wellington for a frolick. Snow is fun!

This week at "Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree"

Doing: Well, lots of things. Life has been going too fast and there's a lot of stuff that's just a blur. I don't think I've done one of these updates for quite some time. We had a little family holiday to Grindelwald for a few nights which was rather fun - we jam packed in lots of little outings and good stuff :o) Oh and we went to see Regurgitator - awesome.
I've been pretty busy getting all my new products ready and I feel a bit relieved that the latest range is now "out there" and I can work on the next thing. I've been saying to myself that I need to get more of my Japanesey work (polymer clay/chiyogami paper) in my online stores. It's not easy because they're all so different and it takes so long to photograph etc but I do plan on making rings/earrings/necklaces/hairpins with designs that I can keep producing so it will be more of a permanent range. I'll get it organised when I finally get a chance between creating more stock for markets and stockists - Xmas is around the corner so it's getting busier. Eeep!

Reading: The Girl with the Pearl Earring by Tracey Chevalier. Just finished reading Wildflower Hill by Kimberley Freeman (aka Kim Wilkins) - awesome engrossing story set in Tasmania.

Listening to: Berry, Tool, Rammstein, Clare Bowditch, Goldfrapp, Cat Power, The Paradise Motel

Looking forward to: The Paradise Motel tomorrow night, Big Day Out (fingers crossed - tix on sale in the morning) and Soundwave!

Buying:
My lovely friend Sarah from Ingres Violin gave me a super special deal on one of their gorgeous laser cut trees made from Walnut timber. It is lovely a big and my new doily necklaces are going to look so special when they are hanging on it at my future markets.

This gorgeous apron by Liesl Made.
