This month at "Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree"

Doing: filling jewellery orders, bushwalking, dinners & drinks, planning a Harry Potter party, market stalls.

Under the Shade of a Bonsai Tree at 'the market' - Autumn

Watching: I've been watching all the series of Love My Way and Tangled. I also went to the cinema recently to watch Water For Elephants. I really enjoyed it, perhaps more so as I've also read the book.
Reading: Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger

Listening to: The Jezabels, Clare Bowditch, Bat For Lashes, Katzenjammer

Buying: This awesome bonsai tree. I already have a different bonsai made by the same seller in Spain (Intres Handmade). I couldn't resist when I saw this. They are perfect little props for my markets stalls.

Looking forward to: Big overseas trips! We are travelling to Germany for about 5 weeks in August and I'll be travelling to Japan for a couple of weeks in February. So excited!

Making: This is my Japanese Cherry Blossom brooch (also available as a necklace) - available online as of today. If you buy now you will get it at the special introductory price of $22 (normally $30) I love it and have also had such a great response already.
Buy at Etsy.
Buy at MadeIt.

Must see 'water for elephants' as I loved the book - I am embarrassed to admit that I didn't even know it was on, in my school holiday, house wife fog!!
Love the brooch
